A Survey of Psychotherapy Literature by Alfred A. Barrios, PhD., revealed the following recovery rates:

Psychoanalysis: 38% recovery after 600 sessions

Behavior Therapy: 72% recovery after 22 sessions

Hypnotherapy: 93% recovery after 6 sessions

While many utilize hypnosis as a stress management tool, when addressing a specific challenge, I have found that a minimum of 12 sessions enables access to and resolution of the root issue. The average number of sessions presented in this study was six for a 93% recovery rate, with many individuals overcoming an entire challenge in a shorter timeframe of approximately three to six sessions, indicating that 12 sessions allow for comprehensive addressing of the challenge and related concerns, leading to transformative results across all aspects of a client's life.

How many sessions do you recommend?

 

We are all distinct individuals; just as personal training is tailored to each person, it is unrealistic to anticipate a total body transformation after only three workout sessions. Although I require three initial sessions, certain challenges, require more sessions. If you are managing a chronic condition that necessitates ongoing treatment.

How does hypnotherapy work?

 

Hypnotherapy utilizes hypnosis to access an individual's subconscious mind via relaxation, achieving the desired outcome. During the initial session, we will examine the challenge's history; subsequently, you will be guided through a customized meditation, daydream, or restful state. At the end of the first session, you will acquire reinforcement techniques and learn when to integrate them into your daily life.

This initial session will enable you to become more cognizant of the subconscious barriers limiting your potential. During reinforcement sessions, we will review the accomplishments achieved since the previous visit, apply hypnosis to solidify the desired change, and continue to investigate reinforcement methods, techniques, and additional approaches to improve your health and performance.

What you need to know

 

Can you hypnotize children?

Yes. I have been working with children for over 35 years and find them to be incredibly receptive to the experience. Children are generally much better at this than adults. In fact, up until the age of about 10, children distinguish reality and fantasy differently than adults. They can often create fantastic imaginary scenarios which can be utilized during hypnosis to help a wide range of issues and challenges.

How do I prepare for my remote sessions?

Make sure you will have 1) privacy and 2) comfort during your session. Here are a few tips:

  •  Tell your family members/coworkers you will be unavailable during your session.

  • Put your phone on "Do Not Disturb" mode, with notifications off.

  • For ReVive, Energy Balancing & Spiritual Alignments, you will lie down comfortably in a couch or bed.

  • Wear headphones if possible.

Are remote sessions really just as effective?

Yes! Because you're at home and comfortable, you may go even deeper than if you had to travel to an office. I’m proud to have been guiding clients through phone sessions for over eight years which makes it possible to continue support my clients during this time.

What if I'm out of town or international? Can I still have a session?

Yes! We can meet over the phone, FaceTime, or I will provide you with a Zoom link where you can join your session.

What's the refund policy?

Just like you can't get a refund from your doctor or massage therapist, all sales are also final. Clients are asked to pay at the time of scheduling.

How do I pay?
